F&B Service Expert (Hostess)

About the role

Join Marriott International as an F&B Service Expert (Hostess) in Manama, Bahrain. You will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and seat them at clean, prepared tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, napkins, silverware and ensure all place settings are correct.
• Guide guests through the dining area, assist with special‑needs seating and maintain a tidy environment.
• Monitor menu availability, keep menus clean and up‑to‑date.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Observe dining room safety, service flow and guest well‑being.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related hospitality experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk and move on uneven or slippery surfaces for extended periods.
• Capability to lift up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
