About the role

The Head of Corporate Banking will shape and drive the corporate banking strategy for a leading global institution in Bahrain. This senior position focuses on business growth, profitability, and expanding the corporate portfolio while ensuring strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the corporate banking strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets.
• Lead client relationship management and business development, delivering tailored financial solutions.
• Oversee credit assessment, risk management, and regulatory compliance across the corporate portfolio.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of banking products and services.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the corporate banking team.
• Report performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of banking experience, including at least 10 years in corporate banking or senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record in corporate finance, portfolio management, and business development.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, lending products, and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
