Helpdesk & IT Support Specialist (1-year contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Helpdesk and IT Support Specialist to provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to users on a one‑year contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day IT helpdesk and technical support to users.
• Receive, log, prioritize and follow up on IT incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot operating systems and applications.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Outlook/email.
• Assist with user account, access and permission‑related issues.
• Provide onsite technical support for meetings, conferences and events.
• Maintain accurate records of reported issues and solutions.
• Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved and provide timely updates.
• Escalate complex issues to relevant technical teams when required.
• Support IT operations in line with ITIL/service management and information security practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in IT Technical Support, Helpdesk or Desktop Support.
• Experience with ticketing/helpdesk systems and SLA‑based support is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
