Insurance Account Specialist

About the role

As an Account Specialist within Marsh Operations, you will join a team focused on efficiency, quality and timely delivery, sitting at the heart of Marsh's value proposition for clients. You will partner with colleagues across the Middle East to support client service and renewal delivery, within a collaborative operations environment that values continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Client Executive and Placement teams across the end-to-end renewal lifecycle, including client servicing and coordination
• Gather and format renewal information and required documents for the Client Executive
• Manage and record client and carrier communications in Marsh systems to ensure timely follow-up
• Help create and maintain renewal documents and report on open items
• Manage, track and report the renewal lifecycle across PRISM, RSM, Placement and Invoicing
• Track NDA and KYC requirements with clients, including via Docusign, and update client exposure information (Ezynsure)
• Prepare and follow up on placing slips, draft Financial and Coverage Comparisons (FCC), and follow up on signed slips via JIRA
• Coordinate with the placement team on quote slips and insurer responses recorded in Ezynsure
• Archive client responses, follow up on certificates obtained from insurers, and perform a first-level check of policy documents
• Track and manage endorsements and certificate issuance
• Stay compliant with Marsh compliance, professional and transparency standards and understand insurance procedures and legislation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in the insurance sector and/or client service environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, especially during renewal cycles
• Excellent communication and time management skills, able to work independently in a collaborative team
• Adaptable, quick learner with strong relationship-building skills

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Comfort switching across multiple systems (PRISM, RSM, JIRA, Ezynsure, Docusign)

The role is based in Manama with a hybrid arrangement: colleagues must be in the local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week, with anchor days for each office-based team.
