IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist

About the role

The IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist will support, secure, and maintain Qureos Inc's IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity applications. Working closely with the IT Infrastructure & Technology Manager, SOC/CISO teams, and external providers, you will ensure reliable operations and effective security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and install network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Manage LAN and WAN layouts, including physical and logical network topology.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide Tier 2/3 support for connectivity and outages.
• Perform regular maintenance, system upgrades, and patch management for hardware and software.
• Conduct capacity planning and maintain IP telephony/voice communication systems.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, firewall rules, access controls, and security policies.
• Monitor security alerts, coordinate vulnerability assessments, and support incident response with SOC and CISO teams.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross‑functional teams to plan infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
• Document configurations, processes, and procedures, and stay updated on industry best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, configuring, and maintaining LAN/WAN networks and security devices.
• Ability to work with SOC/CISO functions and respond to security incidents.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for Tier 2/3 infrastructure issues.
• Effective communication with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.
