IT Support Officer

About the role

We are seeking a customer‑focused IT Support Officer to join our technology team in Bahrain. You will be responsible for delivering reliable technical assistance to end users and ensuring smooth operation of our IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents through onsite and remote assistance.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts and system access.
• Monitor IT systems, perform routine maintenance, updates and security checks.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions and IT assets.
• Assist with network troubleshooting, system deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver efficient IT services.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, networking and IT support best practices.
• Experience with help‑desk or ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, user account management and IT security principles.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and within a team.
