Lead System Engineer – Power & Water

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Lead System Engineer to drive the design, configuration, assembly and testing of control systems and HMI solutions for Power & Water projects. You will head a multidisciplinary team, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the System Engineering team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review technical specifications, standards, work procedures and product specifications.
• Perform detailed system and application software engineering, design, assembly and testing.
• Prepare and review software Bill of Materials and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with customer engineers, lead project engineer, document controller and QC engineer.
• Organise internal meetings, monitor project progress and control schedule and quality plans.
• Manage scope deviations, participate in site acceptance tests, commissioning and start‑up activities.
• Hand over the project to the Technical Services Division after successful SAT.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation or Electronics).
• Minimum 10 years of experience with DCS, ESD or PLC‑based control systems, including application software.
• Proven experience on Power & Water project execution and retrofit projects.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and deliver on time.
