Legal Specialist

About the role

Alzayani Investments is looking for a meticulous Legal Specialist to provide comprehensive legal support across its diverse business units in Manama, Bahrain. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating risk, and handling a wide range of legal transactions for the company and its subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the legal department with case proceedings, including preparation and service of legal documents.
• Manage legal transactions with government authorities such as the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Land Registration Bureau, Traffic Directorate, and others.
• Maintain and renew commercial registrations (CRs) for the company and its divisions, ensuring no violations.
• Draft, review, and translate agreements, NDAs, MOUs, resolutions, powers of attorney, and other corporate documents.
• Conduct legal research, gather documentation for trials, and prepare legal opinions and studies.
• Organise and maintain the legal library and case files, providing concise summaries for reference.
• Follow up on major court cases with police stations, prosecution offices, and relevant ministries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in a corporate legal department or reputable law firm, preferably across multiple industries.
• In‑depth knowledge of Bahraini corporate and commercial law.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organisational abilities.
• High professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.

Required skills

• Exceptional drafting and negotiation abilities in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
