Mechanical Foreman

About the role

Nass is hiring a Mechanical Foreman in Askar to supervise and coordinate mechanical installation, maintenance and repair activities at project sites. The foreman ensures all work is done safely, efficiently and in line with project specifications, quality standards and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical technicians, fitters, welders and helpers on site
• Plan, assign and monitor daily mechanical activities to meet project milestones
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and work schedules
• Oversee installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and other trades
• Monitor manpower productivity and ensure availability of materials, tools and equipment
• Conduct site inspections, maintain records of progress, manpower and material usage, and enforce HSE policies
• Hold toolbox talks, report progress and site concerns to the Site Engineer or Project Manager

Required profile

• Diploma or trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical works, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman position
• Experience in construction, industrial, MEP or infrastructure projects

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents
• Strong knowledge of mechanical installation and maintenance practices
