Merchandise Planning Assistant / Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Merchandise Planning Assistant / Specialist to provide analytical and operational support across the merchandise planning lifecycle. The role will work remotely and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product selection, demand forecasting, inventory allocation, and commercial performance align with project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of merchandise planning strategies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Assist with product selection, seasonal planning, procurement coordination, inventory allocation, and replenishment.
• Collaborate with project managers, commercial, procurement, finance, marketing, sales, and supplier teams.
• Maintain product catalogs, merchandise plans, pricing data, purchase orders, and related commercial documents.
• Monitor product and supplier performance against sales targets, inventory levels, margins, and delivery schedules.
• Help manage product lifecycle events such as additions, deletions, substitutions, seasonal changes, and markdowns.

Required profile

• Mid‑level to senior experience in merchandise planning, supply chain, or commercial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales forecasts, inventory data, and product performance.
• Excellent communication skills to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of maintaining accurate merchandise administration procedures.
