Occupational Therapist (On Site) - Bahrain

About the role

Amana Healthcare, brought to you by M42 and Mumtalakat, is opening its first facility in Bahrain in Al Jasra, a hospital providing long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation services. It is looking for an on-site Occupational Therapist.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for patients with physical, neurological, cognitive and psychosocial conditions.
• Develop, implement and regularly review individualized treatment plans aligned with patients' rehabilitation goals.
• Provide advanced therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence, activities of daily living, mobility, cognition and quality of life.
• Support discharge planning, including home assessments, equipment recommendations and caregiver education.
• Maintain accurate, timely and compliant clinical documentation in line with hospital policy and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control and ethical practice at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Eligible for or holding a valid NHRA license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum 6-8 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, complex medical cases or long-term care is highly desirable.
