About the role
Yokogawa is seeking a dynamic Product Sales & Application Engineer to drive sales and market penetration of its FlowCam imaging particle analyzer and related life‑science solutions across the Middle East and Africa. The role blends technical expertise with strategic sales activities, targeting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, water quality and research customers.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for FlowCam and complementary life‑science products.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
- Conduct product presentations, demos and technical discussions with clients.
- Represent Yokogawa at exhibitions, conferences and industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, end‑users and channel partners, providing pre‑ and post‑sales support, training and troubleshooting.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback, delivering insights to product and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, service and product management teams; maintain accurate CRM records and prepare regular sales performance reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Biomedical or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–5 years of technical sales experience in life‑sciences, analytical instruments or related sectors.
- Familiarity with particle analysis, imaging systems and laboratory instrumentation.
