Proposal Manager – Remote (Bahrain)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Proposal Manager to lead the creation, coordination and delivery of high‑quality business proposals, RFP responses and customer submissions. The role will oversee the full proposal lifecycle, work with cross‑functional teams and ensure compliance with client requirements to maximise win rates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of proposals for RFPs, RFQs, RFIs and unsolicited opportunities.
• Define proposal strategies that align with customer needs and business objectives.
• Coordinate contributions from sales, engineering, product, legal, finance, marketing and operations.
• Draft executive summaries, value propositions, solution narratives and other proposal content.
• Ensure proposals meet customer specifications, procurement rules and corporate standards.
• Manage proposal schedules, document control, reviews, approvals and submission deadlines.
• Support pricing strategies, commercial models and contract negotiations.
• Maintain proposal templates, knowledge repositories and reusable content libraries.
• Conduct quality reviews, track metrics, analyse win rates and drive continuous improvement.
• Present status updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, Finance, Project Management or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in proposal, bid or tender management, business development or commercial operations.
• Proven track record of developing successful proposals for enterprise, government or commercial customers.
• Strong understanding of proposal methodologies, procurement processes and commercial strategy.
• Excellent business writing, editing, communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Exceptional organisational ability with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience leading cross‑functional proposal teams and working independently.
