About the role
The Sales Manager drives hotel revenue by managing existing accounts, prospecting new business, and ensuring high occupancy and ADR across the property.
Key responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, sales policies and SOPs.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, manage the sales budget and lead daily check‑ins with the team.
- Maintain active solicitation program, track leads, and conduct site inspections for potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver regular production reports, quarterly account reviews and coordinate with brand‑wide transient sales initiatives.
- Participate in community, trade shows and professional associations to increase visibility.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of sales experience with a proven record of achieving targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
- Strong team‑management skills and ability to identify and fill knowledge gaps.
- Experience in hospitality sales, transient room revenue, and account management.
