Senior Data Entry Specialist

About the role

The Senior Data Entry Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across the company’s internal systems, databases, and spreadsheets. You will work closely with multiple departments to process large volumes of information, maintain data quality, and support operational reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, update, verify and maintain data from various sources, following established standards.
• Review and validate data submitted by internal teams, customers, and suppliers, identifying discrepancies, duplicates, and formatting issues.
• Maintain organized databases, spreadsheets and digital records, ensuring proper categorisation and accessibility.
• Conduct regular data‑quality audits, recommend corrections, and support the improvement of validation processes.
• Prepare data summaries, reports and trackers for internal stakeholders.
• Guide junior data‑entry staff, review their work and share best practices.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, sales, customer service and other departments to clarify data requirements.
• Assist with data migration, system updates and database maintenance, ensuring information remains accurate before and after changes.
• Handle confidential information in line with company security policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in high‑volume data entry and data‑quality management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple data sources.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with cross‑functional teams.
• Commitment to maintaining data confidentiality and security.
