Senior External Auditor – Bahrain

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior External Auditor to join its Bahrain audit team. You will work with diverse clients, delivering high‑quality audit services and providing insightful accounting and reporting advice.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements, collaborating closely with team members and senior staff.
• Prepare for and attend meetings with client management, presenting audit findings and recommendations.
• Assist in drafting reports, schedules, and other deliverables for clients and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel.
• Identify and escalate potential business opportunities and audit risks.
• Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals.
• Ensure audit work meets EY’s quality standards and is reviewed appropriately.

Required profile

• Strong academic record with a degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA).
• Minimum four years of professional experience in external audit.
• Experience working at a Big 4 accounting firm.
