Structural Draftsman

About the role

The Structural Draftsman will join Arab Organizers in Bahrain to produce detailed structural drawings for a variety of sports facilities, including football fields, gyms, and courts. Working on‑site, you will translate design concepts and engineering calculations into clear, accurate CAD documents that support construction and fit‑out activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update structural drawings and plans for sports venues using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD tools.
• Interpret architectural, structural and MEP specifications and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, project managers and site teams to resolve design issues.
• Maintain organized drawing archives and documentation, tracking revisions and version control.
• Conduct occasional site visits to verify design feasibility and align drawings with actual conditions.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Drafting, Architecture or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes applicable to sports and recreational facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Experience in structural drafting and producing detailed plans and sections.
• Competence in digital file management and version control.
