Student Recruitment Specialist

About the role

The Student Recruitment Specialist will drive student recruitment for RCSI Medical University of Bahrain, supporting the achievement of enrolment targets across all programmes. Working closely with the Student Recruitment and Admissions Manager, the role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with schools, career counsellors, government bodies and other key stakeholders in Bahrain, the GCC and priority markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment plans for all university programmes.
• Manage a portfolio of priority schools and establish long‑term relationships with career counsellors and education bodies.
• Plan and deliver school visits, presentations, career fairs, webinars, campus tours and other student attraction activities.
• Identify new recruitment opportunities, partnerships and channels to expand the prospective student pipeline.
• Support prospective students throughout the enquiry‑to‑enrolment journey, collaborating with admissions colleagues to improve conversion rates.
• Maintain accurate records in the university’s CRM system and provide regular activity reports.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure recruitment materials are up‑to‑date and aligned with market insights.

Required profile

• Experience in student recruitment, higher‑education marketing or related business development roles.
• Strong relationship‑building and account‑management skills with schools, counsellors and government agencies.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with internal departments and external partners.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proactive, results‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving recruitment targets.
