Team Lead – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring 100% accuracy and safety while meeting business priorities. This role coordinates manpower, equipment, and space to guarantee efficient order processing and timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and allocate staff and equipment to expedite orders according to priority.
• Plan warehouse space, assign storage locations, and supervise picking, packing, and put‑away operations.
• Verify manuals, pick lists, and packing specifications for correct quantities, dimensions, and required certifications.
• Monitor documentation of damages, short/over shipments, and report to Client Services.
• Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Implement QHSE and security policies, maintaining housekeeping standards.
• Train, set objectives, appraise, and discipline staff to achieve high performance.
• Escalate issues and opportunities for improvement to supervisors or line managers.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• At least one year of relevant warehouse or logistics experience.
• Fluent in English and proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong knowledge of material handling equipment (VA, RT, OP, PPT).
• Computer literate with MS Office and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to operate RF scanner units.
