Tele‑Sales Agent

About the role

The Tele‑Sales Agent will contact prospective customers by phone to promote and sell the company’s products and services. The role combines cold‑calling, lead qualification, and customer support to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospects, using cold‑calling techniques to generate interest.
• Present product features, pricing, and benefits, following scripted sales talks.
• Enter customer information, orders, and call notes into the company’s system.
• Obtain referrals and leads from various sources and pass qualified leads to the sales team.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, investigating issues and proposing solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts, accounts, and sales activities.
• Support the line manager with ad‑hoc tasks and contribute to departmental data collection.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma; work experience in sales or telemarketing preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude, teamwork orientation, and high energy.
• Ability to listen actively and persuade customers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use CRM or order entry systems.
