Assistant Service Manager - Automotive

About the role

Zayani Motors is looking for an Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager in running a busy automotive service department. The role focuses on maintaining high customer satisfaction, workshop efficiency, and team performance within a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with daily operations of the service department and workshop.
• Supervise, mentor and motivate service advisors and technicians to meet departmental targets.
• Act as a primary contact for customer enquiries, delivering exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor workshop workflow to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to quality standards.
• Help manage workshop loading, scheduling and job allocation.
• Conduct quality control checks on completed work.
• Prepare and analyse service department performance reports.
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an automotive service environment, preferably in a supervisory or senior technician role.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced setting.
• Full, valid driving licence.
