Director – Business Operations & Sales (Compressed Air Solutions)

About the role

The Director will lead the Business Operations and Sales function for SB Group’s compressed air solutions and related industrial products, based in Bengaluru. This senior position is responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion and operational excellence across installation, commissioning, AMC and breakdown support services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to increase revenue and expand market presence.
• Lead sales and service teams, set performance targets and monitor results.
• Manage key client relationships and ensure high‑quality delivery of installation, commissioning, AMC and breakdown support.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise processes and promote energy‑efficient, cost‑effective solutions.
• Maintain strong partnerships with Deep Pneumatics Pvt Ltd and other vendors.
• Monitor financial performance, ensure compliance with company policies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior management or director‑level experience in industrial, manufacturing or engineering organisations.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning and decision‑making abilities.
• Extensive sales and business development experience in industrial products or compressed air solutions, including key account management.
• Operational and technical understanding of air compressors and compressed air systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Bengaluru and travel to client locations in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
