Design Engineer - 3D printing

About the role

A drawing only earns its keep when the part can be made. This role takes mechanical designs from 2D plans and 3D CAD models through prototypes, tooling and production, working closely with the people who build them.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawings and models that consider performance, manufacturability, cost, safety and timing.
• Test designs through simulation, then build and inspect prototypes using 3D printing or CNC.
• Prepare drawings for mold suppliers, resolve technical questions and inspect tooling before production.
• Improve jigs, replacement parts and factory processes, and share practical guidance with junior engineers.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of mechanical design experience and a Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Strong CAD skills using SolidWorks or an equivalent tool.
• Experience taking designs into manufacture via 3D printing, injection molding, thermoforming or CNC.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

What we offer

• Salary BHD 700‑900 gross per month, capped at BHD 900.
