IT Manager

About the role

The IT Manager will report to the Director of Finance and be responsible for the overall IT operations of Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain. This role ensures that all technology systems support the hotel’s luxury service standards and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with hotel GMs, EXCOM, HODs and other critical users, providing strategic IT guidance.
• Plan, budget and control IT expenditures, ensuring alignment with Accor IT policies.
• Develop business cases for IT investments and present regular status reports to the GM and Area IT Director.
• Oversee hardware partners, resolve escalated hardware issues, and maintain inventory of servers, routers, switches, POS devices, UPS and related components.
• Ensure software compliance, licensing, and vendor relationships; troubleshoot software issues through escalation.
• Control user access rights, deliver training programs in coordination with Learning & Development.
• Maintain PCI DSS and GDPR compliance, enforce IT security policies, and manage data backup and disaster recovery.
• Lead IT projects, including upgrades of PMS, CRS, RMS, CRM, POS, and other hotel‑specific systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar IT management role, preferably within an international hotel brand.
• Strategic thinker with strong results‑driven and process‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communicator able to inspire and motivate cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in English with strong decision‑making skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proven ability to build relationships with business partners and align IT strategy with hotel objectives.
