About the role
The Ritz-Carlton in Manama is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests at its pool facilities. You will monitor swimmers, respond to emergencies, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Observe swimmers, use rescue techniques when needed, and assist injured guests until EMS arrives.
- Monitor the pool area for hazardous conditions, enforce rules, and report accidents or unsafe situations to management.
- Maintain pool deck cleanliness by washing, mopping, folding towels, and performing routine inspections of equipment.
- Provide courteous guest service, welcome all visitors, and assist individuals with disabilities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior lifeguarding experience required; supervisory experience not needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
Required skills
- Current CPR certification.
- Current First Aid certification.
