Lifeguard – Pool & Beach Safety (Bahrain)

About the role

The Lifeguard will ensure the safety of guests using the hotel’s pool and beach facilities at Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa. You will monitor water conditions, enforce safety rules and respond quickly to any emergencies, providing a secure and enjoyable environment for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously supervise pool and beach areas to prevent accidents.
• Enforce safety regulations and issue warnings when necessary.
• Perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the poolside environment.
• Assist new swimmers and educate guests on safe water practices.

Required profile

• Valid Lifeguard certification (mandatory).
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong observation, communication and calmness under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in water rescue techniques.
• Ability to administer first aid and CPR.
