Senior Planning Engineer – Mechanical & Civil

About the role

The company seeks an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to lead planning activities for mechanical and civil projects across Bahrain and the GCC. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring projects stay on track.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules, resource allocation plans and cash‑flow projections using Primavera.
• Prepare material take‑offs from IFC drawings and coordinate with design, procurement and HR teams.
• Monitor progress against the approved plan, identify slippages and implement recovery actions.
• Produce work breakdown structures (WBS) in collaboration with the Project Manager and client.
• Generate CPI analysis, progress curves, and monthly forecasts for site foremen.
• Prepare weekly and monthly planning reports, evaluate contractor performance and issue delay notices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of planning and scheduling experience on mechanical and civil projects.
• Prior experience on heavy‑industrial projects is an advantage.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, quality and client satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Immediate availability or short notice period.
