Accountant

About the role

Alzayani Investments is looking for a motivated Accountant to join its team in Manama. This full‑time role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will work closely with internal auditors and other finance staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare supplier payments, issue receipts and assign control numbers.
• Enter invoices, vouchers and other data into the accounting system.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
• Maintain the Fixed Assets Management System and support fixed‑asset audits.
• Assist with VAT return reconciliation and ensure proper recording.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Accounting software (e.g., ERP or bookkeeping systems)
