Agent 365 & AI Engineer (Freelance/Contract)

About the role

Management Partners is seeking a hands‑on Microsoft AI/agent engineer on a freelance/contract basis for a 6‑month engagement. The role is mostly remote and requires 70‑100% bandwidth, focusing on the implementation of Agent 365 across the Microsoft 365 Copilot ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Agent 365, covering agent registration, identity, access management and integration with Microsoft 365 services.
• Configure governance controls, testing procedures and production deployment pipelines.
• Develop and maintain connectors, plugins and REST‑API integrations with external data sources.
• Apply least‑privilege and OAuth concepts to secure agent authentication and data access.
• Monitor logging, audit trails and AI security risks such as prompt‑injection and sensitive‑data exposure.

Required profile

• 4–8+ years of experience in Microsoft cloud, automation and AI engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform or related agent technologies.
• Proven ability to secure identities, APIs, connectors and data access.
• Recent exposure to Microsoft agent‑governance tools and a troubleshooting mindset.
