Application Support Manager

About the role

The Application Support Manager will lead the design, development, and support of scalable full‑stack solutions. This senior position combines technical leadership with hands‑on development and team mentorship to ensure high‑quality, secure, and performant applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define and oversee application architecture using .NET Core.NET Razor and modern front‑end frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue.js).
• Guide a team of full‑stack developers, conduct code reviews, and manage performance, resource allocation and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Support teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure timely releases.
• Contribute to complex development tasks, including microservices, API design, and database schema optimization (relational and MongoDB).
• Drive containerisation with Docker, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and cloud deployments on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Enforce security best practices, API cryptography, testing standards and performance optimisation across the stack.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Proven experience leading development teams or acting as a senior technical focal point.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating across multiple technical disciplines.
