Architect – Security Center of Excellence

About the role

The Security Center of Excellence Architect partners with sellers and account teams to translate Microsoft’s security story into actionable solutions for CISOs. This role spans cloud and on‑premises environments, covering Azure and Microsoft 365, and showcases how Consulting Services accelerate security transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Envision and design security strategies that align with customers’ business goals using Microsoft technologies.
• Shape multi‑year programs to implement security and identity solutions.
• Develop early‑stage security and identity opportunities and drive pipeline growth.
• Coach and mentor architects, fostering pre‑sales capabilities and business development.
• Identify and share pre‑sales patterns and reusable IP across teams.
• Lead technical teams, ensuring high performance, collaboration, and quality delivery.
• Manage pre‑sales excellence, mapping technical requirements to solution scope and value proposition.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering security and identity solutions at enterprise scale.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a track record of mentoring technical architects.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to drive business development and influence deal structuring for profitable delivery.
