Assistant Designer

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Designer to support our retail and interior design projects for stores and malls. The role involves creating detailed AutoCAD drawings, 3-D visualisations and presentation materials that align with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate AutoCAD plans, elevations, sections and construction details for retail environments.
• Assemble complete drawing sets for store and mall submissions, coordinating with the design team.
• Generate high-quality 3-D renderings and visualisations using 3ds Max, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape or D5 Render.
• Translate concept sketches into realistic 3-D models, applying appropriate materials, finishes, lighting and furniture.
• Ensure all deliverables meet company quality standards and project timelines.
• Develop concept layouts and design presentations that follow brand guidelines.
• Keep up-to-date with new software features, rendering techniques and design trends.
• Collaborate with project and design teams to ensure smooth execution and support additional design tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience as a 3D visualiser or designer, preferably in retail, commercial or fit-out projects.
• Strong eye for detail and solid understanding of materials, finishes and lighting.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
