About the role
The Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance will support the Business Head and Senior Finance Manager in driving the annual budgeting process, monitoring performance, and providing decision‑support analyses for the Apparel Group’s retail operations in Bahrain.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management information systems for stakeholders.
- Analyse profit & loss statements and present findings to management.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new and existing stores to assess profitability.
- Develop and present business plans and budgets for the F&B division.
- Manage import payments related to purchasing activities.
- Track profitability of new‑age stores and present P&L reports to principals.
- Perform breakeven analysis for under‑performing stores and recommend actions.
- Authorise and monitor expenses related to trade licences and rent.
- Analyse stock reports and authorise movement of small wares and equipment in warehouses.
- Produce ad‑hoc reports based on customised requirements.
