Auto Finance Coordinator

About the role

The Auto Finance Coordinator will manage customer financing requests for vehicle purchases, acting as the bridge between customers, sales teams, and financial institutions. This role requires strong financial knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process internal financing requests, review credit applications and verify customer information.
• Explain financing options, terms and conditions to customers, ensuring clear understanding.
• Collaborate with sales teams to provide timely financing information.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions to secure vehicle loans.
• Prepare accurate loan application documentation and negotiate terms on behalf of customers.
• Stay updated on lending rates, loan programs and automotive financing trends.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve inquiries and maintain positive relationships throughout the financing process.
• Coordinate with sales administration to monitor compliance with deal approval terms.
• Prepare weekly reports on in‑house deals, bank deals and approved customer metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in finance or accounting within the automotive industry, preferably in a dealership setting.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices and regulations related to automotive financing.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
• Strong negotiation, relationship‑building and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capacity to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast‑paced environment.
