Banquet Commis (Villa Dining)

About the role

The Commis will support the kitchen team in preparing food for banquet events and in‑villa dining at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain. The role involves daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene and safety while delivering the luxury experience expected by guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, mise en place and basic cooking following standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
• Support service during restaurant, banquet, buffet and other guest‑facing events.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, hygiene and proper food storage procedures.
• Label, store and rotate food products using FIFO, minimizing waste.

Required profile

• Culinary qualification or training preferred.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a professional kitchen, preferably a 5‑star hotel.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Team‑player attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work under pressure.
