BMW Technician

About the role

Euro Motors, a premium car dealership in Bahrain that carries BMW and other brands such as MINI, Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari and Maserati, is looking for a highly skilled and meticulous Technician. The role calls for a high level of technical expertise and the ability to handle BMW's advanced performance engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and replace broken or worn-out parts.
• Verify vehicle functions and their subsystems.
• Inform the supervisor about preapproval needed for additional repairs.
• Notify the service advisor and service assistant immediately of work interruptions caused by extra work, complications, missing parts or missed deadlines.
• Follow checklists, repair instructions, tools and test equipment in line with current BMW guidelines.
• Handle tools, special tools and work clothing properly and use equipment cost-effectively.
• Hand over dismantled, replacement or warranty parts to the warranty department, cleaned and labelled.
• Dispose of waste according to local regulations and report accidents and incidents to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or in a similar role.
• A relevant vocational qualification or certification in automotive technology or mechanics.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, including electrical, engine and transmission.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
