About the role
The Business Development Manager will drive growth for our consultancy by identifying and securing new opportunities within the GCC insurance market. You will act as the bridge between client needs and our service portfolio, enhancing market presence and revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development strategy tailored to the insurance sector.
- Identify, qualify and acquire new clients, building strong relationships with decision‑makers at insurance companies, brokers and other stakeholders.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities.
- Prepare high‑quality proposals, presentations and service agreements; lead contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with consulting, marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Set and achieve business development targets, reporting regularly to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CII or CPCU.
- Minimum 7 years of business development or sales experience in the insurance sector.
- Proven track record of generating revenue and closing deals with insurers, brokers or loss adjusters.
- Strong understanding of GCC insurance regulations, market trends and operational processes.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Goal‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to thrive in a competitive environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems.
