Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to establish and expand IFS’s market presence in Bahrain. The role will involve identifying, negotiating and closing commercial relationships with channel partners, suppliers and end‑customers, driving revenue through licensing, consulting and product manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales and growth targets by building partnerships, alliances and direct sales, collaborating with technology teams on new product development.
• Prepare performance reports, conduct market research, competitor analysis and forecast revenue.
• Represent IFS at exhibitions, events and forums, maintain strong customer and supplier relationships and provide strategic market insights.
• Support fundraising activities, manage relationships with investors, accelerators and government agencies such as Tamkeen and the EDB.
• Work with R&D to expand the product portfolio, research new suppliers and identify business opportunities in emerging sectors.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in B2B marketing and sales, preferably across multiple industries.
• Proven ability to launch products, manage pilots or drive product development initiatives.
• University degree in Business Administration (MA or BSc) considered an asset.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in market research, forecasting and business planning.
