Cloud DevOps Engineer – Cyber Security

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer specialized in cyber security to join our Amersfoort team. You will help build and maintain a state‑of‑the‑art SaaS cloud platform that supports multiple teams and partners. The role focuses on delivering reliable, high‑performance services for our next‑generation CIAM cloud offering.

Key responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability of cloud services.
• Design, implement and maintain automation pipelines and infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm charts.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab, Ansible and Helm across AWS and GCP environments.
• Apply AI concepts and tools to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
• Test, deploy and hot‑fix software updates and new features in a multi‑cloud environment.
• Analyse product requirements and propose suitable technologies and tools.
• Identify risks, forecast concerns and define mitigation plans at task, team or project level.
• Provide technical solutions for database design, installation, migration, backup, recovery, high‑availability and monitoring.
• Orchestrate and optimise database activities across multiple schemas and components.
• Manage system and network configuration and monitoring through automated pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cloud DevOps engineering, preferably in a security‑focused environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Experience forecasting risks and defining mitigation strategies.
• Good communication skills in English, the corporate language.
