Cluster Manager

About the role

The Cluster Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple apparel stores, driving performance metrics, and ensuring high levels of customer service. The role includes recruiting, hiring, training, and guiding store teams to maximize sales and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve quantitative performance measures such as units per transaction, average transaction value, sales per month, sales per square foot, and shrinkage control.
• Set and monitor store sales targets to maximize profitability.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and maintain high customer service standards across all stores.
• Enforce company SOPs, policies, loss‑prevention guidelines, and visual merchandising standards.
• Monitor inventory movement and ensure compliance with visual merchandising guidelines.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff on sales techniques, customer service, and teamwork.
• Evaluate employee performance annually and provide coaching and motivation.
• Communicate business drivers, merchandise issues, and quality concerns to senior retail leadership.

Required profile

• Experience overseeing multiple retail locations and managing store performance.
• Strong decision‑making abilities to enhance overall store performance.
• Ability to orient new employees to apparel store operations and ensure they have necessary skills.
• Effective communication skills for reporting to Retail Operations Manager and corporate teams.
