Crisis Management Senior Officer

About the role

The Crisis Management Senior Officer will lead the development and maintenance of guidelines and systems that protect Yokogawa staff, contractors, visitors and assets across the Middle East & Africa region. You will ensure business continuity, monitor emerging threats, and support security assessments in line with the company’s sustainability and safety objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor ISOS and major news sources (e.g., NHK, BBC, CNN, Reuters) daily and report relevant updates, cross‑checking traveler locations.
• Assist in preparing and updating regional security assessments and physical assessments under senior direction.
• Maintain and update the regional Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and related certifications.
• Support the administration of training sessions such as HEAT, Vismo, and Business Trips awareness.
• Update crisis management portals, maps, and security level documentation.
• Assist with travel request documentation, security level approvals, and weekly reviews of security level lists and traveler reports.
• Maintain crisis management records, contracts, and the physical crisis management room.

Required profile

• Experience in crisis management, business continuity, or security operations within a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret news sources and assess regional risks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior staff and coordinate cross‑functional training.
• Attention to detail for maintaining documentation and portal updates.
