Cybersecurity Analyst – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our remote team. You will monitor security events, investigate threats, and support incident response to maintain and improve our security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools.
• Investigate suspicious activities and potential incidents.
• Perform threat analysis and vulnerability assessments.
• Support incident response and escalation processes.
• Analyze logs from networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
• Identify and mitigate security risks.
• Maintain and improve monitoring rules and dashboards.
• Support compliance with security policies and frameworks.
• Generate incident reports and security findings.
• Collaborate with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC or related roles.
• Understanding of network, endpoint and cloud security.
• Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Sentinel or QRadar.
• Knowledge of threat detection, malware analysis and incident response.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (Security+, CySA+, CEH) are a plus.
