Delivery Manager / Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and organized Delivery Manager / Supervisor to lead our daily delivery operations. In this role you will coordinate drivers, riders and support staff to ensure timely, accurate and safe deliveries for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan delivery schedules, routes and manpower to optimise efficiency.
• Supervise and coordinate drivers, riders and operational staff.
• Monitor delivery status, accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and delivery issues professionally.
• Track delivery costs, fuel usage, vehicle expenses and operational efficiency.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained, serviced and properly documented.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational performance reports.
• Identify route optimisation opportunities to reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, road safety regulations and operational procedures.
• Investigate delivery discrepancies, missing items or damages and take corrective action.

Required profile

• Previous experience in delivery, logistics, transportation or related operations.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate a delivery team.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Customer‑focused attitude with good interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and peak periods.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of delivery tracking systems.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation tools.
• Experience with POS or logistics management software.
