About the role
We are seeking a Development Specialist to join a confidential client in Bahrain, focusing on web‑based applications that support core banking and back‑office operations.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and maintain applications, APIs, services and batch processes.
- Build REST and SOAP integrations with banking systems, digital channels and third‑party solutions.
- Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and other database components.
- Support production systems, investigate incidents and resolve root causes.
- Assist with data migration, reconciliation, deployments, releases and upgrades.
Required profile
- Proven experience in application development, integration and database work within banking or similar domains.
- Ability to work on‑site, collaborate with business users, technical teams and vendors, and follow development, change and release standards.
Required skills
- REST and SOAP integration experience.
- SQL development and optimisation.
- API design and implementation.
