Diesel Mechanic

About the role

Al Arrayed Logistics is seeking a full‑time Diesel Mechanic to join its on‑site maintenance team in the Capital Governorate, Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the company’s diesel‑powered fleet and heavy equipment running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical faults on diesel engines, trucks, trailers and lifting equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Repair or replace defective parts and ensure proper re‑assembly.
• Maintain accurate service records and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with operations staff to minimise equipment downtime.
• Follow all safety and quality standards in the workshop.
• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to support fleet reliability.

Required profile

• Proven experience with diesel engines and related systems.
• Background in vehicle and equipment maintenance for logistics or transport.
• Technical diploma or certification in automotive or diesel technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins and maintenance documents.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper tool usage.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Previous fleet‑maintenance experience is an advantage.
