English Tutor

About the role

UniHawk is looking for a passionate English Tutor to prepare secondary and pre‑university students for SAT, IELTS and a range of international curricula. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, creating customized study plans and supporting students’ academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality English lessons for IB, IGCSE, A‑Level, AP, CBSE, ICSE and American curricula.
• Provide focused coaching for SAT English (Reading & Writing) and IELTS examinations.
• Design personalized lesson plans that address individual student needs.
• Prepare students for internal assessments, external exams and standardized tests.
• Track progress and give detailed feedback to students and parents.
• Utilize interactive and digital teaching tools to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with academic coordinators to maintain teaching quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English or a related field.
• Minimum two years of teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with international curricula.
• Strong expertise in SAT and IELTS preparation.
• Good understanding of IB, IGCSE or American curricula.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with inquiry‑based learning approaches is a plus.
