Experienced Associate/Senior – Audit & Assurance (ARA)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Experienced Associate or Senior to join its Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) practice in Bahrain. You will work closely with engagement teams to address complex accounting, reporting and operational challenges for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client proposals and manage day‑to‑day engagement activities.
• Conduct in‑depth research on complex accounting matters, including abnormal transactions, acquisitions and IFRS impact assessments.
• Prepare and review financial statements, accounting policies and internal control frameworks.
• Collaborate with engagement managers to design, implement and test internal controls, and to deliver high‑quality advisory solutions.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with client staff and Deloitte colleagues.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver timely, high‑quality client service.
• Excellent analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and alignment with Deloitte’s values.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS and its application to complex transactions.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and review.
• Understanding of internal control design, testing and remediation.
