Experienced Associate/Senior – Audit & Assurance (Controls) – Bahrain

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Experienced Associate or Senior to join its Audit & Assurance practice in Bahrain, focusing on Controls Assurance. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to address accounting, reporting and operational challenges while ensuring high‑quality audit delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client proposals and oversee day‑to‑day engagement operations.
• Adapt and prepare referral instructions, defining audit scope and focus areas.
• Liaise with onshore and offshore Centers of Excellence, providing accurate information and tracking deliverables.
• Link risks, controls and findings across audit files and articulate audit quality milestones.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and distinguishes accounting from audit judgments.
• Apply AI tools in the audit context, including prompt engineering, while exercising professional scepticism.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting with ACCA, CPA or SOCPA qualification.
• 3–6 years of experience, preferably with a Big‑Four audit firm.
• Hands‑on experience implementing IFRS 9, 10, 15 and 16.
• Proven ability to supervise staff, plan engagements and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English; bilingual Arabic/English preferred.
