Export Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Export Manager to lead our international export operations and develop strategies that support global growth. This remote position will oversee documentation, logistics, compliance, and relationships with distributors and logistics partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute export strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Manage end‑to‑end export operations from order confirmation through international delivery.
• Coordinate export documentation, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping documents.
• Ensure compliance with export controls, customs regulations, sanctions, trade restrictions and destination‑country rules.
• Maintain relationships with international distributors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers and logistics partners.
• Monitor shipment status, delivery performance and customer service levels.
• Analyze market opportunities, customer demand and regional trade requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, procurement, production, warehouse, legal and supply‑chain teams.
• Prepare export budgets, cost analyses, pricing inputs and logistics optimisation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to reduce freight costs, improve delivery performance and optimise distribution.
• Produce executive reports, performance dashboards, market assessments and strategic recommendations.
• Drive automation and digital transformation of export documentation and logistics processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in export management, international logistics, global trade or related functions.
• Proven track record of managing export operations, compliance and cross‑border commerce.
