F&B Service Expert – Hostess

About the role

Join the Guest Service team at Marriott International’s Westin property in Manama, Bahrain. As an F&B Service Expert (Hostess) you will help create memorable dining experiences by welcoming guests, managing seating, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables.
• Pull out chairs, place current menus, and ensure each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and proper place settings.
• Guide guests through the dining room, assist with special‑needs groups, and monitor seating availability.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, practicing clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Check menus for current, clean, and wrinkle‑free condition and organize tables, chairs, and settings.
• Support safety and well‑being of guests by monitoring the dining area.
• Communicate with the kitchen, interact with guests, and clean work areas and supplies.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking on uneven surfaces, and lifting objects up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance).

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
